Sailors and scallywags alike will gather for an evening of sea songs and chanteys for the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park’s monthly chantey the first Saturday night of each month at 8pm.

These free, famous gatherings where park rangers lead the public in traditional sea-faring tunes and lots of socializing, will be held aboard the historic ship Eureka and includes free hot cider for singers.

So make sure to RSVP ahead of time by calling 415-561-7171 or emailing peter_kasin@nps.gov, and don’t forget warm clothes and bring a mug for this evening of sailor songs under the stars.
