The Tamale Lady’s Birthday Bash

Celebrate the famed SF icon’s birthday on Tuesday night with live bands, homemade chicken mole and all-you-can-drink beer.

Help save KUSF while taking swigs of Speakeasy beer and celebrating The Tamale Lady’s birthday at Zeitgeist in San Francisco.

It’s free to enjoy a live performance by the Goat Family Jug Band and a screening of the rockumentary “Our Lady of Tamale,” about the guest of honor herself.

Plus if you donate $10 (which goes not only to pay for the event, but also benefits KUSF) you can indulge in all-you-can-drink beer, birthday cake and the Tamale Lady’s homemade chicken mole and pasta salad.

So spend your night at this 21+ celebration and use it as an excuse to indulge in some microbrews and homemade Mexican food for a very good cause.

The Tamale Lady’s Birthday Party
Zeitgeist (199 Valencia St., SF)
Tuesday, June 21 | 6-10p
FREE Admission, $10 donation for all-you-can-drink Speakeasy & food.
