Cityhood Fireworks Celebration | Oakley Join the City of Oakley, one of California’s youngest cities, in its celebration of cityhood on Saturday, July 7, 2012.

Held at Freedom Basin Park, there will be music, food, vendors, pony rides, face painting and more. The evening ends with a fantastic fireworks extravaganza.. It all ends with fireworks at dusk, and attendees are advised to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

Admission is free, $5 wristbands are also available for purchase for the children’s activities and rides.
