Event Details

Acclaimed classical singer, Ayesha Nadir Ali, trained in the Dhrupad style, will steal your heart with her singing classical Indian and Punjabi folk music set to the poetry of Punjab’s classical poets including Baba Guru Nanak, Baba Farid, Bullah Shah, Waris Shah and others.

She will intersperse her singing with her in-depth knowledge of the history of the local Sufi or rebel poets who stood up to the tyranny of their time and status quo. Extremely relevant to your own history in the current US political development. Don’t miss it.
