Conservatory of Flowers: Free Admission Day | GG Park
Whether you’re a native San Franciscan, a visitor from the other side of the world, or a budding botanist, the Conservatory of Flowers offers an intimate, up-close experience with over 1,700 species of rare, exotic and endangered plants from more than 50 different countries.
Opened in 1879, the wood and glass greenhouse is the oldest existing conservatory of its kind in the Western Hemisphere.
Admission is normally $6 for SF residents ($8 for everyone else), but it’s free to all visitors on the first Tuesday of every month.
Hours: 10 am to 4:30 pm (last entry is at 4 pm)
