Event Details

Enjoy a multimedia presentation by author Betsy Franco and artist Tom Franco. Betsy will talk about her first adult novel, Naked, which her son Tom illustrated.

Betsy Franco has written over eighty books for children, young adults, and adults. She is the recipient of a number of awards, including the New York Public Library Notable Book award, the ALA Best Book award for Young Adults, and the Northern California Independent Booksellers Book of the Year award. She has three sons, James, Thomas, and Dave–two actor/writers and a sculptor/illustrator. She lives in Palo Alto, California.

Tom Franco is a sculptor, painter, illustrator and the Founder/Director of the Firehouse Art Collaborative in Berkeley, CA. He contributed the novel’s cover art and interior drawings.
