Ferry Building Cookbook Festival

Who hasn’t fallen under the spell of a cookbook? We have all been drawn in by the luscious photos, the heartfelt descriptions of each dish, the earnest wisdom of an author who is willing to impart their insight on flavors, temperatures and accompaniments. The Ferry Building Merchants will celebrate the cookbooks that inspire them on Saturday, September 17th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each shop will feature a cookbook, or a special food item from a cookbook. Some shops will even feature cookbooks that the shop owners have written.

At 11 a.m. famed Chocolatier Michael Recchiuti of Recchiuti Confections in the CUESA Kitchen will do a cooking demo featuring seasonal bounty from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
