Flagging in the Park is a summertime gathering of fluttering human butterflies dancing and waving psychedelic patterned weighted pieces of fabric to the beat of DJs in the AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park on Sunday, May 12, 2013.

Come enjoy the sun, music, flora, and friends in the beautiful National AIDS Memorial Grove. This event is open to all flow artists – fanning, flagging, poi, staff, and their supporters.
Free flags are available to borrow for flagging or come and just relax, take in the fun dance music and colorful visuals. Bring a beverage, a lunch, something to sit on, and enjoy.
The 2013 beneficiaries are The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
