Healthy & Free First Saturdays | Marin Headlands

Deer in field-300_250On First Saturday, from 11 am to 12:30 pm every month, Point Bonita YMCA will be hosting a free program that promotes health and different dimensions of wellness including environmental, physical, intellectual, occupational, emotional, spiritual and social wellness. All ages are welcome and they encourage you to bring family and friends.

Stay after the free event for an optional lunch ($10/adult; $5/child) and enjoy amazing ocean views in the Headlands.

Explore all the beauty that spring has to offer in the Marin Headlands with an experienced naturalist as your guide. Learn about the amazing adaptations that help these spring beauties thrive and discover some of the cultural and medicinal uses of our plant allies. They will be looking for what is blooming, but they will also discuss other plants, birds, insects and whatever else may catch their eyes. All ages are welcome.

Join in afterwards for an optional, hot and delicious lunch served in the dining hall. Prior lunch registration is required and there’s a fee for lunch.
