Event Details

The Harvey Milk Center for the Arts is hosting an afternoon event for all ages that includes dancing, film, music, arts, and food. Come out to learn a skill, and stay to dance with your community.

3pm – workshops:

  • old fashioned portraits at the photo center
  • mending
  • screen printing
  • perspective drawing

6pm – food & entertainment:

  • Potluck dinner
  • Local film screening
  • Live music & community square dance

The event is the second in eleven of the How-to-Homestead 11 in 11 Tour. In 2011 How-to-Homestead will hold events at recreation centers in all eleven districts of San Francisco, shedding light on these under recognized resources in our community, while sharing skills to make us all more handy, sustainable, and self-sufficient.
