2013 Snowflakes on Market Lighting Ceremony & SF Ballet | SFAttend the 6th Annual Market Street Snowflake Lighting ceremony at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in front of the cable car turn-around at Powell and Market streets.

Emcee Spencer Christian of ABC News will lead Mayor Lee, city officials, and SF Ballet “snowflakes” in the countdown to the lighting of 202 five foot tall LED illuminated snowflakes on Market Street’s signature “Path of Gold” light poles during the holiday season. They’re lit through mid January.

The Path of Gold lights that run the length of Market St. from Steuart to Castro streets were originally installed in 1916 and cast a distinctive amber glow on one of the city’s main thoroughfares.
