Psychedelic Society is pleased to present a spectacular mushroom talk by Alan Rockefeller.

Alan will show you the basics of mushroom identification including:

San Francisco’s edible, toxic, and hallucinogenic species
• Common lookalikes
• Mushroom identification
• Mushroom habitats
• And More

About the Presenter:

Alan Rockefeller is a mycologist specializing in mushroom taxonomy. He has been collecting mushrooms for ten years, and has traveled to Mexico to collect mushrooms for almost an entire decade. Alan is a network security expert, a moderator at the Shroomery Mushroom Hunting and Identification Forum, and posts all of his mushroom photographs on mushroomobserver.org.

They will be meeting in the Thomas Starr King room, which is to the left when you enter the building.

Free, but there’s a suggested donation $5-20. Your donation directly helps the society put on more events like this. Please contribute what you can, though nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
