“North by Northwest” Bike Ride & Survey | Richmond District

The streets in the northwest corner of San Francisco are getting friendlier for biking and walking in ways both subtle and dramatic — parklets, traffic circles, wider bike lanes, new bike lanes, multiuse paths, raised crosswalks, bulbouts, smooth pavement, and much more are arriving in the Richmond District and upper Presidio every day.

Come out and take a rolling look at what’s sprouting on the streets of the great northwest, and learn how it’s happening, thanks to the work of public agencies and active citizens like yourself.
