NUMU New Museum Los Gatos Grand Opening: Free Admission Day | South Bay

Celebrate the Grand Opening of the NUMU (New Museum Los Gatos) with a free admission and to all 6,000 square feet featuring 8 galleries of exhibitions from noon to 4 pm on June 6, 2015.

Among the first to be slated are: Hear Art See Music containing works from Serj Tankian of System of a Down, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, and “Fantastic Realism” painter Leonardo Cuervo; Giants in the Sky – The Rise and Fall of Airships, another dedicated to Woody Guthrie and the power of music to affect social change, as well as one that explores “the living history of Los Gatos”

With 6,000 square feet and 8 galleries, NUMU is dedicated to the intersection of art, innovation and history. NUMU replaces what was formerly known as The Museums of Los Gatos, which consisted of two small museums: one dedicated to art, the other for history. After NUMU’s Grand Opening, Exhibitions will be free to members and those under 18; with General Admission: $5.
