Spend Sunday afternoon with poet laureates from around the Bay Area at the 2016 Poets Picnic at the Benicia City Park Gazebo from noon to 4 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Poet Laureates from all over California, who serve their cities and counties by increasing the awareness and understanding of poetry, will come together along with their fellow poets for an afternoon of getting to know each other and sharing their work.
Poets are invited to bring poems to share with others on the grass as they picnic. Bring a dish to share and lawn chairs or blanket for seating. This event is open to the public.
