Event Details

Sassafras Lowrey presents Lost Boi, the queer punk reimagining of the Peter Pan story. Pan is the fearless leader of a band of orphaned, abandoned, and runaway Lost Bois. Hook is still king of the pirates, but nothing has prepared the bois for the newly-corrupted Mommy Wendi and tomboy John Michael. Like a fever-pitched dream, Lost Boi weaves children’s fantasy with a subversive alternative reality, all while staying true to the biggest battle of all: growing up.

Sassafras Lowrey is a straight-edge queer punk who won the 2013 Lambda Literary Emerging Writer Award, among others, and was named to the inaugural Trans 100 list by We Be Trans. Lowrey’s other titles, Kicked Out, Roving Pack, and Leather Ever After, have been honored by organizations ranging from the National Leather Association to the American Library Association.
