This Memorial Day, get ready for another exhilarating hike through San Francisco with Jill Katz, followed by a celebratory drink in North Beach.

Meet outside in front of Gott’s Restaurant at the Ferry Building. You will then proceed along the Embarcadero to the Filbert Steps, the stairs are impressive for their length, their wonderful views of San Francisco, the well tended gardens on either side, and the beautiful art deco buildings along the way. One of the most spectacular buildings features three-story high reliefs of San Francisco.

Nearby are the equally amazing Greenwich Street Stairs too. Afterwards, you will check out the murals at Coit Tower. Now that you’ve earned it, you will proceed into North Beach to fill your cup with spirits for your reward.

This is a 6 mile A to B meaning it is a one way hike, so you will need to figure out how to get home as they will not be returning to the Embarcadero.
