Valentines Adopt A Thon: Decoding Your Dog & Free Dental Kits | SPCACelebrate Valentine’s weekend at the San Francisco SPCA’s third annual Be Mine Adopt-a-thon on February 13-16, 2014.

They’ll have a Thursday night cocktail party, Saturday afternoon dog and cat behavior seminars and free dental checks for petsand last, but not least, adoption fees will be waived all weekend for animals from the SF SPCA, SF Animal Care & Control, Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, and Family Dog Rescue.

Fee-waived adoptions continue plus:

  • Noon to 3 pm: Free dental checks for pets. Participants will also go home with a free dental kit.
  • 2-3 pm: The SF SPCA’s Dr. Jeannine Berger, one of only a handful of board-certified veterinary behaviorists in the country, will be reading from her chapter in the new book Decoding Your Dog and signing book copies. Dr. Berger will be joined by a trainer, which will be the purr-fect opportunity to ask behavior questions and solve any training issues.
  • 3-4 pm: Ask a Trainer
  • Adoption Center open from 10 am to 6 pm
