The Veterans Home of California | 100 California Drive, Yountville, CA
The Fourth of July 2011 festival begins at the Veterans Home in Yountville with an all-day street fair featuring food and activities for the whole family like face painting and an appearance by Violet the Clown.
Music starts at 12:30 p.m. with the daytime festival highlights being a dunk tank, a performance by Dolly’s Tap Dancers and the Joe DiMaggio Fourth of July Baseball Tournament. It’s all capped off with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m., which can be viewed best from right outside the Veterans Home administration building.
The festival also features musical entertainment throughout the day from the likes of Suzi Gilbert, an a-capella group and the Sun Kings, a Beatles tribute band at 7:30pm.
