Feast of Words is a monthly potluck hosted by Irina Zadov and Lex Leifheit where writers and foodies come together on the third Tuesday of each month to eat, write, and share.
September 20th Theme: “Schoolhouse Rocks” with a youth reader from 826 Valencia and our chefs from Old Skool Café. Take a trip down memory lane with a modern twist on your childhood favorite and don’t forget your homework: a potluck dish to share and a #2 pencil for our creative write-off
Following the meal and reading, there will be a creative competition of on-the-spot writing.
