Fridays are now a little bit more awesome. Did someone say $1 drinks?

Monroe in North Beach hosts “Battle of the Decades” DJ party and happy hour every Friday with a DJ spinning progressive tunes. Every hour is a different decade – with drink prices to match – $1 drinks during ’60s hour, $2 drinks during ’70s hour, and so on.

Get ready for “Thriller” Battle of the Decades – a Halloween-themed costume DJ party with Chucky Brown that changes decades every hour. Even better than that, the drink prices start at $1 for both beer and well cocktails at 6 pm and raise by just a buck every hour.

Wednesday, October 30, 2013 | 6 pm to 2am

• Halloween decorations & treats
• Special “Blood Orange” margarita all night (starting at $1 at 6 pm, $2 at 7 pm, etc…)
• $1 beer specials at 6 pm include  Speakeasy Big Daddy IPA, Blue Moon, Stella, Anchor Steam, Pabst Blue Ribbon and more
• Plenty of fun Halloween music mixed in: Ghostbusters, Thriller, etc…

Look forward to 7 pm when the ’80s music kicks in. Yea, the drink prices may rise to $2, but since it’s a “Thriller” party, this is when the dance floor will be its creepiest and crawliest with zombies looking to dance off their doom to MJ.
