100 Foot Tall Film Night | The Great Wall of Oakland

For special events, and on select first Fridays during Oakland Art Murmur, the Great Wall of Oakland, a 100 ′x 100′ projection installation, illuminates the Uptown District with cutting-edge motion art from around the world.

The Great Wall of Oakland is located at the corner of Broadway and West Grand Avenue in downtown Oakland.

Screening of films from the inaugural Teaching Artist-In-Residence program by teaching artists Miguel A. Astudillo and Isaak Le. Miguel and Isaak are working with 2nd and 4th grade students at Melrose Leadership Academy in East Oakland to make short films.

Films will start after sunset around 8 pm and will run until 10 pm. For more of the work made during the last few months, check out Isaak’s Vine and VSCO.
