Mother’s Day in our Parks

Ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, we’re excited to help you with ideas to celebrate mom! Our parks are hosting a number of Mother’s Day events and activities. Additionally, flowers are blooming throughout our parks, making them perfect for an amazing Sunday stroll with the beautiful forecast. • San Francisco Botanical Garden Plant Sales on May 11 & 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Victorian Pressed Flowers Workshop at the Conservatory of Flowers on May 12 from 10 a.m. to noon

• 83rd Annual Mother’s Day Rose Show at the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park on May 12 from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

• Golden Gate Park Band Mother’s Day Show at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell on May 12 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• Union Square in Bloom Mother’s Day Event on May 12 from 2 to 5 p.m.
