The Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum normally shows… well… silent movies and that’s what makes today’s special Sundayscreening so unique.
For $5 you can have two hours of old-timey film fun and watch a Laurel and Hardy “talkie” matinee “Men O’ War” along with Our Gang (aka The Little Rascals) shorts Love Business (1930) and Hearts Are Trumps (1937) along with the Stan & Ollie short Me & My Pal (1933)
Film starts at 4pm, but arrive early as the International Laurel & Hardy vintage comedy film appreciation society, will once again be meeting at the Edison Theater at 3:00 pm prior to the films. The public is welcome to attend their friendly, informal and very informative meeting.
