The Presidio is pleased to announce in partnering with the California Academy of Sciences to participate in the 3rd Annual City Nature Challenge, a bioblitz competition between 60 cities worldwide, measuring which cities can make the most observations, find the most species, and engage the most citizen scientists.
2018 BioBlitz: City Nature Challenge

FREE with RSVPThis BioBlitz will pair volunteers with professional naturalists on a scientific adventure. All of the observations recorded during the day will help San Francisco win the 2018 City Nature Challenge.
Just bring your smartphone with the iNaturalist app, your curiosity, and your powers of observation to help catalog the natural wonders of the parks and open spaces. Help celebrate and record the rich biodiversity of the Presidio.
