2020 Concord Virtual Jazz Festival: Smooth Sounds of Rhonda Sauce

2020 Concord Virtual Jazz Festival (Sept. 16-20)

This year Concord will carry forth its ongoing appreciation of jazz with a five-day, virtual celebration. The Concord Jazz Festival was founded by Carl Jefferson in 1969 and drew 17,000 attendees in its first year.

Sept.  17 – An evening of Jazz with Soul Sauce Facebook live series, 6pm – 7pm. Register here.
Sept. 18 – An evening of Jazz hosted by the Concord Couch Concert, 8pm – 10pm. Register here.
Sept. 19 – Listen to the smooth sounds of Rhonda Sauce from 5pm – 7pm. Register here.
Sept. 20 – All day virtual celebration of David Brubeck’s 100th Birthday  Register here.

Since then it has become an inaugural event and last year Concord celebrated the Jazz Festival’s 50th year by presenting an array of jazz artists throughout the city of Concord including Poncho Sanchez, Chick Corea, Dave Koz, and many more. Concord plans to continue the legacy and keep the jazz alive by hosting a virtual celebration this September!

Concord will carry on its appreciation of all things jazz this September with a five-day virtual celebration, featuring five distinct events that will educate, engage, and immerse fans into the world of jazz.

These performers have come together to perform pro-bono, so if you love what you hear make sure to let them know by Venmo-ing @Rhonda-Sauce and Ca$h App username ($rhondasauce) before, during, and after the set.
