The San Francisco Zine Fest is a free, annual celebration of small-press publishing from zines and comics to art books and beyond.
Exhibitors come from all over the world, and while the focus is on zines, all walks of DIY life are represented — comics, arts and crafts, literary presses, and more.
22nd Annual San Francisco Zine Fest
Sunday, September 3, 2023 | 11 am to 5 pm
City View at Metreon, 135 4th St #4000, SF
Support zine creators from the Bay Area and beyond by purchasing their zines. If you make zines or art, bring them to offer as trade! Many vendors take electronic payment through Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, etc and some take credit/debit cards.
The Sept. 3 fest will include:
- A kid-friendly section
- A panel of artists discussing their journeys into zines and beyond
- A talk with the Guest of Honor, Maia Kobabe
- Make buttons with SF Public Library; read from hundreds of zines in the SFZF Zine Library; and make zines at our zine workshop
- 240 rad exhibitors who make / sell / trade zines
