The East Bay’s iconic Art & Soul Oakland returns with a festive 20thth anniversary celebration FREE to the public and fun for all ages! Enjoy live music on two concert stages (See the full lineup); feast on yummy eats from down home American BBQ to exotic global cuisine; sip locally made wines and beer; strut your stuff in a community dance party or outdoor rolling skating rink; and shop scores of artisans showcasing everything from specialty foods to one-of-a-kind clothing and jewelry. An exciting new feature of Art + Soul, The Black Cultural Zone CDC will present Liberation Park on the Road in full effect with the UMOJA Roller Skating Rink, AKOMA Outdoor Market on the Road, and Outdoor Play Day! Festivalgoers are invited to join at noon for the first skating session with DJ KG, and then shop with local artisans, crafters, and makers. For a sneak peak of the roller skating and AKOMA Market fun, visit The Black Cultural Zone at Liberation Park (7101 Foothill Blvd.)
