Event Details

San Rafael’s 33rd annual Day of the Dead celebration is back in person, and it’s bigger and better than ever! Our free community celebration will be held on Saturday, November 6th, from 3 to 9 pm at the Boro Community Center at Pickleweed Park (50 Canal St.).

Featuring art workshops for children, live music and cultural performances, altar viewing, our traditional candlelit walking procession, and Latin food for sale.

La Misa Negra is our headlining act for this year’s community dance!

Mask wearing is required indoors, and face painting will not be offered onsite this year. Come with your face painted (from the cheekbones up!)
