Celebrate the Third Annual Día de los Muertos in the Sunset!
Sunset Mercantile, in collaboration with Fonzie’s Artisanal Goods, presents the third annual Dia de los Muertos in the Sunset. We welcome everyone to our celebration of life to reconnect with our loved ones through Mexican traditions.
Join us for a night full of food, music, dance, and compassion as we mourn our loved ones through the joys of life. Watch Folklorico dancers weave a story through performance, and create and set up an ofrenda, or alter offering, for your loved ones.
Shop traditional artisan goods and Latin food vendors, plus enjoy a photo booth, live DJ music, and kids activities. Create traditional art with sugar skull painting and papel picador art activities for all. Enjoy food vendors like Semilla, El Fuego Mexican Cuisine, and many more!
Watch the street transform into an evening of glittering lights, garlands, live music, and the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos
November 1st, 6-9pm on 37th Ave and Ortega
Ofrendas: Everybody is invited to set up an ofrenda to welcome and honor the deceased to the altar. Please arrive early to set up prior to the event (~5pm).
Folklorico Dancing Performances at 7pm and 8pm.
