San Francisco’s Bayview Neighborhood comes alive for 3rd on Third, a community-wide arts celebration for the whole family happening from 5-8 pm every third Friday of the month, at Bayview Town Center (Mendell Plaza at 3rd Street & Oakdale Ave).

The monthly event features pop-up galleries, pop-up attractions, local food vendors, a beer and wine garden, a special children’s zone with free art-making activities, and a stage featuring talent from Bayview and beyond.

On Thursday, March 20, the Bayview Hunters Point community will continue to enliven the corridor with a myriad of activities including songs performed by the African American Shakespeare Company’s Cinderella and Prince Charming and fulfilled roller skating with music provided by KMEL Radio.

Plus, check out spoken word and Afro-Peruvian dance performances presented by the Performing Arts Workshop celebrating the Bayview’s young artists.

Tons of 3rd on Third activities for all ages:

• $1 roller blading
• a chance to meet Cinderella and Prince Charming
• a free jazz concert with Tony Saunders at Old Skool Cafe at 7:30 pm
• a spoken word performance by Infinity Production at Auntie April’s Chicken and Waffles
• art tables
• food and drinks for purchase from Bayview Underground Food Scene
