44th Annual “Fairfax Festival” & Ecofest (June 10-11)

Come visit the small bohemian town of Fairfax June 10th & 11th for the Fairfax Festival & Ecofest! Join us all week long for festivities that truly embody our town’s values: community, family, sustainability, and, of course, it’s a raging party with amazing music across three stages.

Pre-Festival Event – The weekend kicks off with a free family friendly outdoor movie night at Contratti Ballfield in downtown Fairfax on Friday June 9, 2023 at dusk showing Disney’s Strange World.

Make sure to catch the lively parade the next morning at 10am on Saturday, June 10th. Afterwards, browse beautiful crafts and art from local artists and vendors, enjoy local food, drink delicious craft beer, wine taste in our sweetly tucked away wine lounge, learn about environmentally-friendly companies and practices, or check out the kids zone packed with family-friendly entertainment. We can’t wait to see you at this weekend-long festival!

2023 Parade Details – Saturday June 10th at 10am

An annual tradition, the whole town comes out and lines the streets for this one-of-a-kind parade that puts the FUN in FUNKY.

The Parade kicks off at the Fairfax theater and makes its way through downtown Fairfax. It officially starts at the Fairfax Theater, turns on to Bolinas Road, and ends on Park Road. It’s usually about an hour and a half long.

Broadway and Bolinas Roads along the parade route are closed to all cars from about 9:45 until the parade ends so please plan accordingly!

Bring a hat, water bottle, and a chair if you can find space for it! The judging happens at the corner of Bolinas and Broadway, where the floats really strut their stuff.
