Event Details

Start your weekend early and spend your Friday night at the Chabot Space & Science Center in the Oakland hills from 5-10 pm on Friday, July 24, 2015. The center doesn’t have regular “free museum days,” so getting in for just $5 bucks is a treat.

Tickets ($5) are required. (Regular admission is $18 for adults)

Explore their hands-on exhibits, take in a planetarium show and gaze through the telescopes with experts.

$5 Friday Admission includes:

  • One Digital Dome Planetarium Show (First come, first serve basis. They recommend arriving 10 – 20 minutes before the first show you are scheduled to see.)
  • Access to interactive exhibits featuring Bill Nye’s Climate Lab and the Touch the Sun exhibit
  • Access to the Observatory Complex. Day and evening Telescope Viewing is available (Weather Permitting)
  • Free Parking
