$8 Friday Night Garage Rock: Soft White Sixties | Cafe Du Nord

After the Mission Block Party tonight, stagger on up to Cafe Du Nord for an excellent cheap Friday night garage rock show. $8 cover, there’s usually a pretty good drink special and the kitchen is open late with amazing mini gourmet corndogs to soak up the booze.

The swaggering, and downright sexy, Soft White Sixties headline and will be kicking out a contagious vintage rock / r&b vibe. You might have seen them playing outdoor shows at the Off the Grid (OtG0 food truck party at Fort Mason each Friday. With OtG closed for winter, we bet the Sixties are glad to be indoors on a Friday night for once.

Opening is the rauncy, rollicking rock of Wake Up Lucid.
