9/11 Day of Service | SF

Spruce up some of San Francisco’s most scenic parks and public spaces at the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department’s special Day of Service projects this Sunday, September 11.

Held in remembrance of 9/11, pick one of three tribute projects in Jefferson Park, Margaret Hayward Playground or Patricia’s Green and help serve your community in honor of the fallen.

Volunteers also get a light breakfast, a commemorative shirt and can also take part in a 20-minute commemoration program, so sign up in advance for one of the projects to make your local parks a little prettier and to remember the victims of 9/11.
