The UC Botanical Garden is Reopening July 22nd
The UC Berkeley Botanical Garden has a reopening date, scheduled to open to the public beginning July 22nd (Members have special pre-access from July 14-20)
The 34-acre UC Botanical Garden is one of the most diverse landscapes in the world, with over 10,000 types of plants including many rare and endangered species.
Organized geographically, the Garden features 9 regions of naturalistic plantings from Italy to South Africa, along with a major collection of California native plants. The Garden was established in 1890 and its living collections are invaluable resources for international research and conservation.

You will notice a number of changes to better control the flow of visitors and facilitate six feet physical distancing guidelines. Changes you may notice include: modified hours, reservations required for admission, some closures and adjusted services, and relocation of plant sales. Please read the Visit Guidelines and FAQs before visiting the Garden.
Tickets are $15 for adults. Modified hours are Noon to 5pm daily (The UC Botanical Garden is closed on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month.). Restrooms, benches, and water bottle filling stations will be available

- Redwood Grove
- Glasshouses
- Water Fountain
- Picnic Tables
Please note that there will be path disruptions throughout the Garden, as we manage visitation flow and allow for important horticultural projects.
