Online AHI2020: Art + Health + Innovation, Conversations in Improving Quality of Care

Kids & Art Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cancer care by focusing on the whole child in treatment by including healing through arts in their programming. We are a San Francisco based non-profit and host of the inaugural AHI2020.

AHI2020 is a 4-day virtual summit around ART + HEALTH + INNOVATION: Conversations in Improving Quality of Care and it kickoff from Wednesday, September 23rd and run to Saturday, September 26th.

Each day will include a mix of sessions from innovators within the arts and health sectors. We have invited an acclaim of speakers to share new ideas and strategies on elevating the quality of care within the hospital and within the home. We will even have an afternoon session with the De Young Museum featuring the Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving Exhibition (currently closed until 2021).

Also as September also marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we look forward to sharing stories of our families, their art (for sale! at the online art gallery), perspectives from Child Life teams across the US, and even a discussion on innovation in pediatric drug development with Genentech.
