2026 Scare Faire: Free Halloween Costume Swap for Kids & Adults (Palo Alto)

Submitted by the Event Organizer

Transition Palo Alto hosts the Scare Faire and Costume Swap, where attendees can donate and swap used Halloween costumes for children and adults. The event aims to keep costumes out of landfills and support Palo Alto’s sustainability goals.

Original Event Description:
_From caped crusaders to spooky spiders and fairies to firemen—let the costumes rise again! Instead of letting last year’s Halloween gear gather cobwebs, bring it to the Scare Faire to donate, swap, and give those costumes a second life. Preventing these costumes from going to the landfill directly contributes to the City’s sustainability goals. It will be hosted by Transition Palo Alto on Saturday, October 10, 1-3 p.m. It’s not just for the kids – adult costumes are welcome too!
