Halloween Eve on Friday, October 30th, rises from the shadows and takes over the de Young for a wickedly unforgettable night where art, music, and mystery collide. Stroll the glowing galleries while live DJ sets from In Session pulse through the halls. Delight in bites from Off the Grid food trucks, moody cocktails, and immersive photo moments around every corner.

Upgrade your night with access to two hauntingly fun VIP lounges offering dedicated open bars, Anna-Alexia Basille polaroids, complimentary trick-or-treat bites by Breadbelly, private DJ sets, and more!

What to wear: Come dressed in your boldest, art-inspired look! To protect the galleries, props like swords, large wings, and oversized accessories are not permitted. We will have a costume coat check onsite for non-permitted items. See our full costume policy and details here.
