Enjoy the waterfront at night as “Food from the Heart” takes over the Ferry Building

A romantic mood will envelop the 1898 Ferry Building Marketplace on Valentine’s weekend. Providing a rare opportunity to experience the magic and beauty of the waterfront at night, the 10th annual “Food From the Heart” will kick off on Friday night, February 10th, in the romantic Grand Nave.

FREE admission, but there will be nominal charges for food and wine samples.

Please note that in past years this event has been lit by candlelight, but for 2017 it looks like this aspect has been removed.

Marketplace shops will be open for Valentine gift shopping, and music will serenade you from the halls. Merchants will offer delicious small bites from $2 to $6 each, and Napa Valley Vintners will pour wine for $4 per taste. 

$2 tasting tickets will be available the night of the event at tables throughout the Marketplace.

Proceeds from purchases of wine and tastes will benefit Slow Food San Francisco.
