About the Stern Grove Festival: These free concerts in the park offered every summer are extremely crowded and it’s recommended you arrive at least two hours early and stake your claim on the garden. Late arrivals will have to find a spot in one of the side garden with no view of the stage (but they have speakers set up for you to still enjoy the concert). It is advised to take public transportation to the festival using either Muni Metro lines K or M, or Muni Bus line 23 or 28.
