The Norwegian Seamen’s Church hosts San Francisco’s very first “Taste of Norway” food festival. All tickets include an authentic entree of porridge, waffles, coffee and probably your only chance in the Bay Area to try (and buy) Norwegian homemade food based on both traditional and newer recipes.
Tickets: $10 at door – RSVP on Facebook – includes porridge, waffles, coffee and lots of samples
Plus with your entry fee, you get samples from 30+ authentic Norwegian dishes like chocolate, brown cheese, herring, home-baked bread, jam, liver patè, fish cakes, “karbonader” and tons more. Make sure to arrive early to get your favorites. Try it all and buy what you like to take home to enjoy again.
