HugFest 2014: Free Hugs Day | SF

Come by and get a free hug in Market Street Plaza from 11 am to 1 pm on UN International Day of Happiness, March 20, 2014.

Hugs are proven to release oxytocin, a hormone linked to feeling happy, so a group of happy huggers will be gathering to give free hugs in the Financial District — where they feel there is a serious need for happiness and hugs.

Want to be a hugger? Make your own “Free Hugs” t-shirt or sign, make sure you look decent and don’t smell, and join the group. If you want to look more “official,” they’ll have $20 event logo “Free Hugs” t-shirts and $10 “Free Hugs” signs.
