Be part of the Albany’s (short and really short) international film festival. Join this March for a week of fresh, eclectic and diverse independent films and filmmaker panels plus special 10-year celebration events all month.

Tickets: Buy tickets for the shows you want to see$13 per movie or you can buy a week long valid Festival pass for $100. $60 for Sunday Shorts Pass admits you to all 6 shorts programs (that’s 30+ short films) on March 29, 2020.

“Come and Take It” A documentary about Jessica Jin’s transformation from a student protester into one of America’s most irreverent anti-gun violence leaders, creating what some people are calling The Great Texas Dildo Revolt. East Bay Premiere.
Aie Weiwei: Yours Truly”The story begins with the remarkable exhibition @Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz. Following his detention at the hands of the Chinese authorities, the outspoken artist and activist transformed the former island penitentiary into an artistic platform that engaged nearly 900,000 visitors in a conversation about the plight of prisoners of conscience around the world. This powerful documentary includes interviews with the artist, friends and relatives, and prisoners of conscience, aiming to inspire viewers to take action in the struggle for human rights at home and abroad. East Bay Premiere.
