Presidio Dialogues with Anchor Steam
Thursday, January 26, 2017 | 6 pm
Presidio Officers’ Club, 50 Moraga Ave., SF
Free, but an RSVP is required.
The story of San Francisco’s original Anchor Steam Beer is very much the story of San Francisco—from Gold Rush to railroads to earthquakes to Prohibition to entrepreneurship. Dave Burkhart, Anchor’s Brewery historian, tells the fascinating survival story of San Francisco’s singular, iconic brew through compelling images of the brewers, brewing methods, beers, and neighborhoods that combine to make Anchor San Francisco’s—and America’s—first craft brewery.
The presentation will include a beer tasting for those 21 and older.
