Are you already an anime fan, or are you curious about Japanese animation? Join us for a showing of the film Tokyo Godfathers, directed by the legendary Satoshi Kon, and to discuss the form you’d like our new anime club to take! This anime club is intended for people ages 18 and up.

Three homeless people find an abandoned baby on Christmas Eve. They embark on a quest to find the baby’s parents, and a comedy of errors ensues. The MPAA has rated Tokyo Godfathers PG-13.

Satoshi Kon (1963-2010) is perhaps best known for the animated psychological thriller Perfect Blue, but his science fiction thriller Paprika is said to have served as an inspiration for the 2010 Christopher Nolan film Inception.
