Join the first annual Papapalooza, a Father’s Day event celebrating all families on June 15, 2013 at Mosswood Park in Oakland and organized by such local parenting luminaries as Weyland Southon (KPFA‘s Father Figures), Tomas Moniz (Rad Dad Zine) and Airial Clark (The Sex-Positive Parent).
The event is completely free; enjoy music, book readings, parenting info tables and kids’ activities. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch. Food trucks are rumored, but not guaranteed.
Join in an art project “Paint the Pillars” led by Estria Foundation. Please bring gently used clothes, toys and books for the Community Swap Table.
