The Pirate Supply Store recently produced a beautiful, strange book called How to Cook on a Ship. The problem is, the only recipe in the book is for hard tack and, well, they don’t know how to make it palatable. In these early years of sea-voyaging, this tough salty cracker is all one eats if you’re on a ship. Truly. All that’s to say, they’re having a competition of dips, salsas, and spreads to make their lives all a little better.
So, whether you’re a connoisseur of condiments or dabbling in new dipping delights, please enter yourself and your savory spread into this First Annual Dip Down.
Want to Enter the Dip Down?
To enter, email email@example.com or stop by the store; they’re open everyday from noon to 6 pm.
Bring about 12oz of dip. Tasting begins at 4 pm. Judging at 5:30 pm.
