In efforts to decrease gun violence in Richmond’s inner city community, the Visions of Hope Project has partnered up with the City of Richmond, Richmond Police Department, and other community organizations to bring the community a fun filled family day at the 7th Annual “Put the Guns Down” Block Party on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
This free event will offer free food, music, face painting, free haircuts for young boys, local entertainment, raffles, jumpers, community speakers, petting zoo, bike rodeo, Doc McStuffin and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle character.
