2016 San Francisco Zombie Walk
Saturday, October 22, 2016 | 4 pm
Meeting Location: Still TBA, but according to Facebook some people will be meeting at Jane Warner Plaza.
FREEThe Zombie Walk works with San Francisco – Marin Food Bank collecting canned food for those in need. If you see a zombie, rather than letting him eat your brains, bring some canned food to donate.
IMPORTANT for 2016: Details are yet to be announced for the 2016 walk, and we’ve reached out to the promoters for more information.
In the meantime, here is what happened in 2015:
The undead of all ages will be starting their march at Jane Warner Plaza, dragging their decaying bones through the Castro and Mission, only to end up back in the Castro to search for more brains and also collect canned food on behalf of those in need for the SF-Marin Food Bank.
The walk is 2.5 miles and will take about 50 minutes.
Points of interest at the walk include:
- Castro Street
- The Castro Theatre
- Roxie Theatre
- Valencia Street
- Mission Street
- Dolores Park
